What would you do if Jesus was your business partner? If you could ask Him any question and go to Him for wisdom on any subject, how might your life change?

As Christians, this is the reality we get to experience! Everything we ever want to know is in the Word of God or in our spirit; we just have to tap into those things. Unfortunately, many Christians leave God out of the marketplace and are unsure of how to integrate their faith and work.

In this episode of The WealthBuilders Podcast, Colin Carr discusses practical steps for abiding in Christ in your work, investments, and business. He discusses the value of diligence and endurance for lasting success.

3 Keys to Experiencing Jesus’ Presence and Power in Your Business

1. Abide

Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

John 15:5: ““I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”

– If you have a “need issue”– not enough money, opportunities, etc.–it’s coming out of Matthew 6:33. When. weseek first the Kingdom, everything is added to us.

– On the other hand, you are having trouble going to the next level of desire, achieving a certain dream, or scaling, it could be that you’re not abiding in the Word of God. Without continually pressing into God’s presence, it’s hard to receive His guidance. Without His guidance, it’s hard to walk in the fullness of His blessing for our business.

2. Diligence

Proverbs 21:5: “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.”

2 Corinthians 8:7: “But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—see that you abound in this grace also.”

– You can’t hope something into existence. You have to put your hand to something as well.

– God places Adam and Eve in a perfect environment, and yet still gave him something to do. We’re supposed to be productive with our days.

3. Endurance

Hebrews 12:1: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

– You’re going to have mundane seasons and times where financial endurance is needed. You must learn how to have faith over a long period of time.

– You won’t reach your goals overnight. Whatever your God-given dream is, you must develop the character to maintain it and the skill set the steward it.

Pray: “Lord, help me be ready to steward what you have for me. I don’t want it before you want me to have it.”
