Episode Show Notes
The Process of Growth and Maturity
- God has divine strategies to help us through life’s challenges.
- There are four primary stages of growth: dependency, independence, interdependence, and maturity.
- When you are married, it is important to understand and blend with one another as you mature.
- As you grow in life, you will be able to recognize when seasons are fruitful. (“All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.” Mark 4:28-29)
The Role of Purpose and Pressure
- Your purpose can become a prison if stewarded incorrectly. Sharing the fruit and rewards of one’s labor with a community of likeminded believers can help with this.
- Pressure can either move a person towards God or away from it.
- Faith and patience can help you navigate pressure and maintain purpose.
The Importance of Stewardship and Patience
- Stewardship is needed to tend to things during their most vulnerable seasons. You must put out consistent effort and continually grow in wisdom.
- As with growing plants in agriculture, patience is required.
- Both the fear of failure and the fear of success can hinder growth.
The Impact of Tricord and Wealth Builders
- Through Tricord Global, thousands of lives have been changed through small loans.
- A woman in Malawi started a business with a $50 loan and eventually opened a convenience store.
- WealthBuilders is the learning arm of the organization, and Tricord is the missional arm. At WealthBuilders, we teach people how to make money work for them and change their mindset. We empower people to get to the point where they can either become Tricord investors or start Kingdom-minded organizations themselves.
