As we enter the holiday season and the last few months of 2020, I want to encourage you all that we can end this year on a great note. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I want you to enter the end of 2020, and therefore the beginning of 2021, with a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. In today’s blog post, I’m going to show you how you can reclaim 2020.

How to End This Year on a Strong Note and Reclaim 2020

Step 1: Reflect

The first thing I want you to do is take a step back and reflect on what you have learned this year. I can guarantee there were some really important lessons! Maybe you learned that an emergency fund is not something you can blow off, or that the job you thought was so stable actually wasn’t. Hopefully you learned some things personally as well. Did you take up a new hobby, enroll in a course, or learn something new? Reflect on all the ways you have grown and changed in the last ten months.

Step 2: Take Action

Now, I want you to take action on what you were just reflecting about. If you learned emergency savings were actually essential, I want you to set up an automatic withdrawal to a savings account starting with your next paycheck. If you learned that your business needs to pivot online more, take the first step and set up your website! Maybe you researched new ways to reach customers, I encourage you to bring that up with your bosses, even if you’ve never spoken up in a meeting before. If you don’t take action, nothing will change. We released the recording of our Business Mastery Workshop, which is a great place for entrepreneurs and business owners to start studying and gaining more knowledge!

Step 3: Reclaim 2020

Becky and I believe strongly in the power of prayer and the words you speak over your life. I encourage you to take some time and pray over what you want the rest of the year to look like. What are some big goals you want to hit? Where do you need God’s favor in your life? How can you be helping others in the Kingdom of God? Every new year, Becky and I spend time asking God what He wants for us that year. Right now seems like a mini reset.!Reclaim 2020 and use it for good.

Step 4: Rinse and Repeat

I believe God is always revealing stuff to us. There will be more you’ve learned next month, more to reflect upon. God might have a new direction for you! Don’t think this is a one and done routine. I want you to add these steps into your life, whether you want to do it weekly, monthly, or quarterly.

I hope this post has encouraged you that all is not lost. You can reclaim 2020, this year can be a year of growth and supernatural favor! Let me know your goals for the rest of the year in the comments below.
