1. Our Life Has Seasons
God can redeem every season for His plans and purposes.
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)
2. Timing & Understanding of Seasons is Key
There is a time for patient waiting and a time for faithful action.
“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.” 1 Chronicles 12:32 (KJV)
“Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” 11 And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.” Matthew 13:10-11 (ESV)
3. Every Season Builds on the Previous Season
Obedience in the present season will move you forward in your God given destiny.
“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14 (ESV)
“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” Romans 8:28 (AMP)
4. There Are Seasons of Preparation
You may not understand the purpose at the time, and it may feel like you’re going backwards instead of forwards.
5. Changing Seasons Can be Uncomfortable
But that doesn’t mean that the transition is bad.
““Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,
Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?
I will even put a road in the wilderness,
Rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 (AMP)
6. We Must Let Go To Reach Forward
You cannot plant a seed over dead plants and expect to see a harvest.
